- The client having signed the above quotation shall abide by the Qualification laid down by KDOT and confirmation of the sum to be paid in accordance with the percentage stated in the terms of payment.
40% Upon confirmation of appointment (Initial deposit) $2,000.00 Upon commencement of works on site. 30% Upon fabrication of carpentry (offsite) 25% Upon installation of carpentry (onsite) 5% Upon completion of project. (No rentention )
- KDOT shall reserve the right to begin with the next stage of work only after receipt of each progress payment. *Subjected to bank clearance.
- Clients is advised that financing of the project is their sole responsibility and is paramount to the smooth operation of the project and any delay in the is required progress payment.
- After 7 days KDOT will send The Client an updated invoice for the additional 10% of the total project fee. This late payment fee is legally binding in the Court of Singapore.
- The Premises shall consider handover & complete if the Client / Vendors had move in or in procession unless is in vacant.
- KDOT shall reserve the right to only proceed with the works on site upon signed confirmation of the construction drawings in accordance to signed approved quotation.
- All confirmed communication requested by the Client must be in written form, otherwise it would be treated as invalid (E.g. Change in design, colour addition or Variation Order & etc)
- KDOT reserves the right to counter propose an alternative timeline for each respective phase affected by delays resulting from The Client’s failure to provide materials or feedback, or additional changes requested made by The Client.
- Quotation does not include any payment to government authorities for account opening such as PUB, Telecoms, submeter, sub-main and water facilities as well for PUB bill which occur during the renovation period.
- Quotation does not include any payment to building management such as fitting out deposit, temporary electrical and water usage, sprinkler drainage fees, administrative fees and miscellaneous fees.
- Clients are assumed to have read and agreed to these terms on acceptance of KDOT services.
- KDOT provide a period of 1 year after sales services for all fixtures from the date of handover excluding accidental breakage of glass, etc; lighting fixtures and fittings; normal wear and tear.
- Warranty will take effect from the date of handing over. Warranty will be void in the event defective items or parts are found to be tampered, modified by non ‘KDA Design Pte Ltd’ personnel.
- KDOT shall not be liable or consequential loss or to the client arising from the third party claims occasioned by errors carrying out the works or by delay in completion
- KDOT shall not be responsible for the cracks or damages that appear on the wall should the cracks & damages be due to natural movement or other subsequent construction or related works of building
- Marble / granite & all other material such as laminate, tiles & paint colour may vary in tonality, veins, surface texture, speckles & thickness. Such variants are inevitable and shall be deemed accepted by the Client
- Signed agreement cannot be cancelled, unless agreed by both parties. Otherwise a liability of 20% of the total amount quoted will be charged.
- If, at any stage, The Client fails to provide payments for the continuation of the project, breach the timeline, or significantly alter the Project Agreement, KDOT reserve the rights to hold or terminate the project.
- Any work, designs, images, and text supplied created/designed by KDOT on behalf of The Client, will remain the property of KDOT
- KDOT will hand over the source files or digital files created by KDOT until final payment has cleared, The Client has rights to use them for other marketing purpose.
- K DOT reserve the right to display and link to your project as part of our portfolio and to write about it on websites, in magazine articles, and in books unless you tell us not to.
